London-based filmmaker turning ideas into moving image.
Directing since 2000, I've been lucky enough to work across a diverse range of video and film genre - short film, documentary, corporate and promo - and continually strive to further my experience by taking on as many exciting projects as I can.
How I Work:
I work as a freelance director for clients directly, through agencies and with production companies. Also registered as a production company in my own right, I work with a regular network of freelance professionals from producers to camera operators, sound recordists to editors. This enables me to assemble the right team for each project, scaling up and down where required whilst keeping overall running costs down. I also shoot and edit a lot of content which can provide further cost efficiency for clients.
After gaining 4 years experience working with production companies, in 2004 I ran Loughborough University's Media Centre. I then set up my own production company, Broco Media, in 2006, producing, directing, filming and editing video content. In 2009 I ran the internal video production department for The Cobra Group of Companies and since 2012 I have been working as a freelance director for a host of production companies and blue chip clients.
