Troubled by a recurring nightmare, Olivia digs out a dusty device, 'The Dreamsy', that once belonged to her Grandmother. Believing it to hold the power to unlock mysteries, she enters into her own dream with her boyfriend Ryan. But she soon discovers dark secrets lurking in his subconscious that will change their relationship forever.

This film was made for the Sci-Fi London 48hr film challenge and was made in, you guessed it, 48 hours from start to finish! It was shortlisted to the top 10 of around 150 entries and was screened as part of the festival itself. We were given a randomly selected title, line of dialogue and a prop direction to incorporate.

This was my first fiction film made in 2007 expressing a simple feeling of loss and longing. We shot it on two 400ft rolls of Super 16mm film and I think there's a raw truthfulness to the actor's performances.
